The Law of Love

Did you know that the Christian religion is the only faith that commands its followers to love God?

Deu 6:4  Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
Deu 6:5  And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

The entire Torah (Old Testament) is based on the Law of Love and treating your neighbor with dignity and respect and how you want to be treated.

Lev 19:17  Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
Lev 19:18  Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Let us practice the Law of Love today!

    Amen! What a difference we could make in the world if we would love others with the love we have received from Christ!

  2. Wow! Isn’t that the truth! We can make a difference just by loving. The way you worded it, reminded me of the Scripture in 2 Corinthians:
    2Co_1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
    2Co_1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
